There is a good reason most of the top microphone brands and analogue mixers use Lundahl transformers -
they are simply the best! And there is an equally good reason you don't fond Lundahl transformers in cheap microphones -
because the Lundahl transformers are expensive!
Lundahl transformers were founded by Lars Lundahl in 1960 in his garage by his home outside Stockholm in Sweden.
Today the company has grown and are managed by second generation Lundahl - Per Lundahl, M.Sc in applied physics.
All Tundra Audio microphones are built with Lundahl transformers. We do not offer cheaper versions of our
microphones without the Lundahl transformers, as many microphone producers do. The Tundra Audio ribbon
microphones are not made to be cheap - they are made to be great.
