  • All Tundra microphones are equipped with Swedish Lundahl Transformers - the highest quality of transformers you can get


  • The Tundra POL-8 Ribbon Microphone is completely pure in design - there are no filters or anything between the ribbon and the transformer. It is as pure as it can be.


  • We only carry a very small stock - most is build to the customer as ordered.


  • All Tundra Microphones comes with a lifetime limited warranty to the original buyer

The history of Danish pro audio

Denmark and Scandinavia have an impressive history of science and high-end pro audio.

The history begins in 1820 when the Danish scientist Hans Cristian Ørsted discovered electromagnetism. Without this discovery the world would not have been the same! In 1898 the Danish tele-engineer Valdemar Poulsen invented the "Telegraphone" - the forerunner of the tape recorder as we know it today. 1958 is the year the Danish engineer Niels Tønnes Pedersen found the company NTP - well-known today for their fantastic compressors and filters - still used in top stuidos and mastering suites around the world. In 1925 Bang & Oluffson (B&O) was founded.

Later came respected pro audio companies out of Denmark such as TubeTech (the producers of the only perfect "replica's" of Pultec), TC Electronics and Brüel & Kjaer (B&K) - now under the new brand DPA.

We are honoured to continue the tradition of outmost perfection performed by these excellent Danish pro audio pioneers and companies!
